Grace Label will be the very first to install the new Domino N730i digital UV inkjet label press in North America. The Domino N730i made its worldwide, in-person debut in September at Labelexpo Americas 2022, and Grace Label decided at the show they wanted that press.

Founded in 1975, Grace Label is a full-service narrow web label and packaging converter located in Des Moines, Iowa, USA, offering pressure sensitive, roll-fed, and cut & stack labels; shrink sleeves; pouches; flexible packaging and more. The company is an existing Domino customer, having had a Domino N610i digital UV inkjet label press, installed three and a half years ago.

According to Steve Grace, president of Grace Label, the N610i has been a game-changer for the business, especially in light of the challenges presented by Covid and the supply chain. He explains, “Grace Label saw an increase in business, we saw an increase in demand. Our customers got busier. The Domino was able to turn around orders we had not had before. We were able to develop new customers. And right now during the Supply Chain disruption, the Domino is fantastic because we are able to put something on there, move it over from our flexo presses and we are able to adapt and keep our customers rolling.”

Meanwhile, Printing United Expo, touted as 2022’s largest printing and graphic arts event – representing all facets of the industry – was held October 19-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Last held in 2019, Printing United 2022 gathered attendees and exhibitors from around the world, drawing registrants from 121 countries, and was deemed a success by attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and partners.

A total of 701 exhibitors occupied one million square feet of show floor space at the venue, supporting commercial, digital, apparel, digital textile, packaging, mailing and fulfillment, and graphics/wide-format spaces.  From an attendance standpoint, there were 7% more attendees on-site in Las Vegas than the inaugural show in Dallas in 2019.
